Returns & Exchanges

The 365-day window

You may return any item within 365 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method, or an exchange for a different model. This applies to guitars, amps and accessories bought from GG Bond Guitars.

Condition requirements

• Item is in original, resellable condition — no cracks, dents, buckle rash or worn frets.
• All original parts and accessories are included (case/gig bag, tools, paperwork, strap buttons fitted by us).
• Original packaging is strongly preferred and protects the item in transit.
• Strings are consumables: guitars returned with dead strings may incur a $15 restring fee.

How to return

1. Contact us. Email partnerships@siliconsilk.ca with your order number and reason for return. We reply within one business day.
2. Pack it safely. Use the original box if you have it; guitars should ship with string tension slightly loosened.
3. Send or drop off. We'll arrange a courier pickup anywhere in HK, or you can drop off at our Hung Hom location.
4. Inspection & refund. We inspect within 2 business days of receipt, then issue your refund or ship your exchange.

Exceptions

• Items damaged by misuse, drops, or improper storage aren't eligible for a refund — but we can still repair them at workshop rates.
• Custom-ordered or personalised instruments are non-refundable unless faulty.
• Faulty items are covered separately under our Warranty — you'll get a faster, no-cost resolution.

Refund timing

Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer. Refunds are processed within 3 business days of inspection approval; allow your bank a further 2–5 days to post it.
